Factory unit auctioned for $515k

5 May 2014

A B1 factory unit located at WCEGA Tower Block 21 in Singapore’s District 21 sold for $515,000 at JLL’s most recent property auction last week.

The 1,087 sq ft leasehold unit in Bukit Batok Crescent (pictured) was the subject of a mortgagee’s sale and was offered with vacant possession. It originally failed to attract interest at the opening bid of $500,000, however bidding intensified and the hammer eventually fell at $515,000.

Three further units failed to attract attention at the auction although a separate factory unit at WCEGA Tower Block 21 was sold prior to the auction for an undisclosed amount.

JLL will be hosting its next property auction on May 29 at Amara Hotel, Singapore.
