The inaugural Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA) Chairman/CEO Leadership Series on 30 May saw over 100 delegates with Lim Siong Guan (pictured), Group President of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), as guest-of-honour.
The series serves as a platform to share successful leadership stories and best practices of sustainable and responsible leadership lifestyles.
Andy Tan, Chairman of APREA Singapore Chapter, said, “As real estate becomes an increasingly preferred asset class and as our corporate members globalise in their business, it is of utmost importance to share best practices in global leadership. We are therefore excited about the impact these would have on our members.”
Lim, former Head of the Singapore Civil Service, shared insights on leadership with APREA members and guests present at the session. He also autographed copies of his new book "The Leader, The Teacher and You" at a book signing session at the event.
APREA’s members, who include sovereign wealth funds, fund managers, developers, REITs and professionals in Asian real estate, collectively manage funds in excess of US$1 trillion.
