Budget statement to be delivered on 23 Feb

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam (pictured), will deliver the 2015 Budget statement in Parliament on 23 February 2015.

Besides live coverage on television, radio and webcast, the public can also access the Budget 2015 Mobile App to stream the speech as it is being delivered.

In last year’s Budget statement, Mr Tharman said it is still too early to tweak any of the property cooling measures, and announced efforts to upgrade Singapore’s construction sector.

The government also announced a one-off GST Voucher-U-Save Special Payment to help lower and middle-income households with the cost of living last year.
