Savills strengthens its Indonesian business

Global property adviser Savills has established an Office Services and Occupier Representation capability, as part of expanding its Jakarta based business.

One of Jakarta’s leading Office Services practitioners, Leny Soedojo joins Savills PCI after 13 years with JLL, most recently as a Director of JLL’s Tenant Representation business.

Rupert Provest, a Savills veteran for ten years, has also joined the team from Savills Vietnam to help lead business expansion in the Office and Residential markets.

A Research platform has also been created with the hiring of former Head of Research at JLL, Anton Sitorus. Anton has more than 20 years of property market research experience.

Chris Marriott, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Savills South East Asia, said, “Savills is delighted to welcome such an experienced team to our already strong Indonesian operations. Under the leadership of local Managing Director, Jeffrey Hong, our Jakarta business is going from strength to strength.”

He added, “Jeff is working closely with Craig Williams (senior technical advisor, Savills PCI) who has a strong track record in the local Jakarta market following previous roles as head of JLL’s Indonesian Operations and more recently MD of Lippo Group’s Indonesian property business.”

In May last year, Savills merged with PT Property Connection Indonesia (PCI) and concurrently established PT Savills Consultants Indonesia.
