Sky Habitat by CapitaLand

As part of plans to keep our readers better informed of what’s ‘hot’ in the market, we provide an update of the most searched properties for sale from the PropertyGuru website in the past week, as well as popular buying locations in Singapore.

For the first time in 11 weeks, Kingsford Waterbay has been overtaken by Sky Habitat as the most searched private condo for sale.

Sky Habitat in Bishan achieved TOP on 27 April 2015, which could have contributed to the recent pick up in interest. The 38-storey, 509-unit development is within walking distance to Bishan MRT station and Junction 8 shopping mall. Based on recent caveat data, units for Sky Habitat have been transacted for around $1,366 psf, compared to $1,583 psf when it first launched in 2012.

Meanwhile, Westwood Residences remains as the most searched executive condominium (EC) for sale. The 480-unit project in Jurong West opened for e-application on 15 May with an indicative price of $800 psf, six percent less than the nearby Lake Life EC.

Jurong West is the most popular HDB estate for sale in the last week, possibly because of the recent announcement that the Singapore terminus of the Singapore-KL high speed rail will be developed on the current site of Jurong Country Club.
