Singapore overseas property buyers will have the opportunity to view one of the Australian Gold Coast’s new architectural landmarks at a property exhibition in the city-state this weekend.

Real estate agency Savills, as joint marketing agency, is hosting a property showcase for Rhapsody, Gold Coast, by HB Australia – a subsidiary of Singapore-based developer Ho Bee Land Limited.

In a statement, Savills said Rhapsody heralds a new era for Queensland’s Gold Coast, Australia and is the first residential tower in Surfers Paradise for more than three years.

The 41-levels building will tower over the beach, and has been designed by award-winning architects DBI International. It also has a 5-star Green rating development.

The project is located on a triangulated site at the northern gateway to Surfers Paradise, bounded by Higman Street, Main Beach Parade and Surfers Paradise Boulevard. It is also within walking distance to the new G:link light rail train station.

Nicholas Chua, spokesperson for Ho Bee Land Limited, said: “Rhapsody is the company’s premier Gold Coast development, the first of a contemporary collection that meets the highest standards of sustainability and design.”

Cherrin Loo, Head of International Residential Sales for Savills Singapore, added: “Gold Coast, the undisputed ‘capital’ of beachside tourism, is home to renowned educations institutions, new generation medical facilities and buoyant commercial sector, and is one of Australia’s most sought after places to live today.”

The residential development features resort-styled facilities and 10-apartment types including studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment will feature views of the city, the beach, canal front homes of Paradise Waters or the blue-green mountains of the Gold Coast hinterland.
Rhapsody is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2016.

The Singapore property exhibition featuring Rhapsody will take place on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore, Level 20, Window East, from 11am to 7pm.
