Singapore-listed structural steel specialist TTJ Holdings has secured contracts totaling $16 million for a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project at Pengerang, Johor and for the provision of civil defence doors at MRT stations along the Thomson Line.

Works are expected to be substantially completed between 2016 and 2017, raising the group’s order book to $122 million as at 17 September 2015.

Commenting, TTJ’s chairman and managing director Teo Hock Chwee said: “Despite facing increased market competition, we managed to bolster our order book with these new projects. This also proves that there are ample opportunities in the construction market to be had.”

The group’s core business is in the design, supply, fabrication and erection of structural steelworks for use in the construction of buildings, factories, plants and infrastructure. It also operates one dormitory in Singapore with a total capacity of 5,300 people.
