A new residential development in London by UK developer London Square is set to be showcased to Asian investors at the Four Seasons Hotel in Singapore this weekend (8 to 9 October), said marketing agent Knight Frank.

Staines-upon-Thames comprises four 11-storey buildings with 65 private apartments. One- to three-bedroom configurations are available, measuring from 538 sq ft to 829 sq ft.

Prices start from £340,000 (S$592,404) for a one-bedroom unit, which translates to £632 psf (S$1,101 psf). The most expensive unit is an 818 sq ft three-bedder costing £500,000 (S$871,210). Rental yields are in the range of four percent, said Knight Frank.

Staines-upon-Thames is located on High Street in the borough of Surrey. “It’s in a prime location close to famous historical attractions, Heathrow Airport and even Britain’s Silicon Valley, presenting investors the opportunity to experience strong capital growth and consistent rental returns over the next few years,” said Linda Chern, Director, International Project Marketing at Knight Frank Singapore.

According to the UK House Price Index, price growth in the area is projected to rise 21.2 percent between 2016 and 2020. In the first quarter of this year, values increased by 6.3 percent year-on-year.

The 999-year leasehold project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
