Leading developers and projects from eight countries will compete for the Best of the Best honours.
More than 40 developers from across the region have been shortlisted to compete for top honours at the sixth annual South East Asia Property Awards 2016, presented by Hansgrohe and organised by PropertyGuru.
The grand finale event celebrates the successes of all the country winners this year that are vying for the Best of the Best honours.
The winners will be announced during a gala dinner on 24 November at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, immediately after the Singapore awards.
Indonesia leads with 15 nominations, followed by Thailand and the Philippines with 12 nods each. They are followed by Myanmar (10 entries), Vietnam (9), Malaysia (8) and Cambodia (4). Several yet-to-be-revealed country winners will come from Singapore.
All nominations underwent a rigorous judging process that involved site visits by independent judging panels in each country to eligible projects. In addition, the whole process was supervised by BDO, a global auditing and accountancy firm.
This year, a total of 13 grand finale awards will be presented, including seven in the Design categories. A new category for Best Boutique Developer (South East Asia) will also make its debut to recognise up-and-coming developers.
Terry Blackburn, Founder and Managing Director of the Asia Property Awards, said: “Southeast Asia’s property sector has come a long way in the last decade and we are proud to have been a part of that growth.”
To date, more than 150 awards have been presented to regional developers and developments.
