The Glades is condominium project being developed just behind Tanah Merah MRT station. With 726 units (ranging from one-bedroom and SoHo units to four-bedroom dual key units, as well as penthouses), The Glades will be an attractive addition to Tanah Merah.

The development is also handicap-friendly, with ramps and other facilities installed to greatly ease mobility for residents with physical disabilities. The Olympic-length grand swimming pool is in the middle of the premises, akin to a lake in a valley of manicured bushes and planted trees.

Convenient travel is something residents of The Glades can enjoy, as Tanah Merah MRT station is just in front of it, along Upper Changi Road. There is also a bus stop beside the condo’s entrance. Bedok Point, Bedok Mall and Bedok interchange are just one train station away, while Changi Airport can be reached via a quick transfer at Tanah Merah MRT station.

Unit sizes start at 452 sq ft for the one-bedroom types, which have lots of living room space and present the option for a platform deck to be built in the bedroom area, to separate working and sleeping spaces.

Singa Hills is a low-lying apartment project at the end of Jalan Singa. With only 58 units available, it is a low-density development on a quiet stretch of road lined with landed homes, making it perfect for residents who prefer a peaceful neighbourhood.

Despite its seemingly remote location, however, Singa Hills is not far from HDB estates and their shops and hawker centres. At the same time, it is merely a short drive away from schools such as St Patrick’s Secondary School and Victoria Junior College, as well as amenities like Parkway Parade, East Coast Park and Bedok Reservoir.

Upcoming developments, such as Kaki Bukit MRT station (on the Downtown Line 3) and the Paya Lebar Commercial Hub, will also be located near Singa Hills.

The units are spread across two five-storey blocks; they start from 464 sq ft one-bedroom apartments and go up to 1,163 sq ft three-room penthouses. Every common bedroom can accommodate a queen-sized bed and every bathroom comes with a rain shower installed.

The units’ interiors are designed to be cosy and comfortable, and facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness alcove, children’s playground, Jacuzzi and pool deck.

Sunnyvale Residences is a 30-unit low-rise development located in the quiet neighbourhood of Telok Kurau, with only three- and four-bedroom dual key units offered.

Sizes range from 936 sq ft to 969 sq ft for the three-bedroom units and 1,119 sq ft to 1,367 sq ft for the four-bedroom units, Sunnyvale Residences is designed with the family in mind. This is in line with Roxy-Pacific’s vision that the development should support multi-generational families.

At the same time, every unit also comes with the option of combining the master bedroom with the adjoining bedroom for a much bigger bedroom space.  This can effectively turn a four-bedroom unit into a three-bedroom one. This added customisability allows homeowners at Sunnyvale to tailor their living conditions to suit their needs.

The neighbourhood of Telok Kurau is also peaceful and full of private homes and low-rise condominiums. Malls like Parkway Parade and 112 Katong are about a 10-minute drive away and Kembangan MRT station is a 12-minute walk from Sunnyvale Residences, along the Siglap Park Connector.
