2016 Vietnam Property Awards winners announced

This year’s big winners at the Vietnam Property Awards.

The second annual Vietnam Property Awards by Property Report saw more than 400 guests attending this year’s gala dinner at The Intercontinental Asiana Saigon on 10 June, where a number of leading property firms in the country were honoured.

The highly coveted Best Developer Award went to Nam Long Investment Corporation. Nam Long is known for its affordable Ehome brand and Nam Long Home line of villas and townhouses. It is also one of the first Vietnamese developers to attract overseas investors and development partners, the judging panel revealed.

In addition to winning best developer, Nam Long also earned special recognition for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts in creating long-term benefits for local Vietnamese communities, through fundraising, sustainable urban planning campaigns and construction of schools.

Acteam International, a subsidiary of Centurion Global Group Singapore, picked up five awards along with two Highly Commended honours for the The Dàlat at 1200 Country Club and Private Estate condominiums and villas in Highlands Vietnam.

Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh Stadt by Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh Stadt Ltd was another big winner, sweeping the Best Commercial, Best Green and Best Office Development categories. Three-time winner The Hamptons Ho Tram by Tanzanite International dominated the hotel category, while The Nassim by SonKim Land & HongKong Land won the Best Condo Development (Vietnam) award.

Meanwhile, CapitaLand Vietnam CEO Chen Lian Pang was voted real estate personality of the year by the editors of Property Report.

“This is a remarkable achievement not only for myself but also for CapitaLand Vietnam, and reflects our commitments to providing the highest quality products to home buyers,” Chen commented.
