SRI has plans to grow its team to more than 200 estate agents next year, and intends to focus on strata-titled properties.

Real estate veteran Tony Koe has been appointed CEO of Singapore Realtors Inc (SRI), revealed the property agency on Tuesday, 23 August.

Koe’s new role comes at a time when the company is looking to grow its presence in the local property market.

He was previously responsible for executing strategic business plans, achieving rapid revenue growth, handling merger and acquisition deals, and developing new real estate technologies.

In fact, Koe is well-known for being an early adopter of online marketing in the real estate industry. Back in 2008, he conceptualised, built and launched the first property portal in Singapore to feature 720-degree virtual tours of more than 2,800 projects.

He also developed an analytics portal, providing historical real estate transaction data to help consumers make more informed decisions on their purchases.

Started in May this year, SRI is a collaboration between Koe and his business partners Bruce Lye and Benson Koh. Prior to this, Lye and Koh co-founded SRI5000, a division of SLP Realty.

“We believe with our combined expertise in real estate and technology innovation, we will be able to constantly innovate,” said Lye, whose experience lies in marketing luxury properties, especially good class bungalows (GCBs) and Sentosa Cove homes.

Meanwhile, the company has set up another entity called SRI Property Management Services to focus on the management of strata-titled properties.

Said Koh: “We truly believe in developing technology applications to elevate the experience of (our) stakeholders, from developers, homeowners, salespersons and consumers.”

All three men have ambitious plans to grow the company’s workforce from 150 to more than 200 estate agents by early 2017. They also hope to announce five property management appointments by the end of this year.
