Nominations are now open for the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2017, which aims to recognise the country’s top real estate developers, their developments and project design.

Industry professionals and the public are invited to submit their nominations until 28 July 2017, with online submissions accepted via www.asiapropertyawards.com/nomination/indonesia/.

“The awards are dedicated to the developers who have shown their passion and hard work in creating successful projects, and hopefully in the near future they can build properties that could be deemed ‘pride of the country’ just like the iconic buildings in Singapore, Beijing, Dubai or London,” said Hendra Hartono, CEO of Leads Property Services Indonesia, who once again heads the judging panel.

This year, awards across 21 categories will be up for grabs, including a new one for Best Universal Design Development, as well as recognition for residential projects in various locations outside Jakarta, like Bali, Bintan and Batam, Surabaya, Lombok, Makassar and Medan.

“Universal Design is the design of a built environment that can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability,” noted Terry Blackburn, Founder and Managing Director of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards.

“We are proud to recognise it alongside longstanding awards for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development as part of PropertyGuru Group’s own CSR mission.”

The property awards, which will be held at Fairmont Jakarta on 12 October, will be presented by Kohler, with support from Regus Indonesia and media partners Liputan6 and PropertyGuru Property Report. Auditing firm BDO will act as the official supervisor.

Meanwhile, the PropertyGuru Indonesia Real Estate Summit will be held one day before the awards ceremony. Catering to executives and senior industry leaders, the full-day networking event will host regional and global experts who will share their knowledge and insights.
