If you're looking for large Orchard Rd type shopping malls within walking distance, this isn't your place. But if you like a quiet neighborhood and the convenience of being walking distance or short bike ride to both an MRT station AND East Coast Park, then it's worth considering Blu Coral. No tennis court but I never used mine in my last apartment. The pool is rather small and the "gym" is nothing more than 4-5 machines but I would still recommend having a look, especially at the larger penthouse units that include a private Jacuzzi and ample balcony space. And as far as value is concerned, the rent for an apartment like this would be at least double anywhere near River Valley Rd - I asked myself if an extra $4k-5K/mo. is worth living in a branded condo and the answer is no. Even compared to other units around the East, I think given the location and newness of this development make it a relatively good deal.

Good intention, Poor Developer
"Nobody is everybodys darling" Big balkonies are generally a good thing. What is the use of these small balkonies where you can hardly put one IKEA chair- two of those is already a challange. Wasted space overall and that does not work for me!
Certainly if you try to squeese out 1,000 to 1,200 sqf a three bedroom appartment plus balkonies space becomes an issue.
Bathrooms are excelently done and for a mass market condo in a prime area where overall the price is the driving factor the developer has done a good job.
Having said that I have to agree that the pool area is far from optimal to say the least. By removing 2 parking spots there would be a nice area for relaxing and it would give the whole condo a significant more cozy touch.
As allways, it will take some time to "settle in" and given the price this condo has the chance to adress price conscious families to find a home there. The developer will, however, have to pay more attention to details and improve common areas.

Huge Disappointment
One of the small lane developments in Telok Kurau that is riding the tide of high prices. Layout generally squarish. However, units are very small, and livable space minute... as the bay windows and balconies take up huge spaces.
Balconies filled the units.... in the living room, the common room (some units) and the master bedroom. The balcony in the master bedroom is almost half the size of the bedroom itself!!
Swimming pool is also very small... unless you are a true blue balcony lover (no view, except your neighbour in most units), or if you can get a very cheap unit, it is definitely not worth buying...
