Terrible Landlord
Things they don't mention in descriptions: - The gym is limited. Tenants need to book it before using it. There are hourly slots for the gym. Only 4 people can use the gym in one slot. One person can book only twice a week. - The landlord does not solve your problems and the landlord does not have much knowledge about the things going around. For example, the security told me that I should receive a text message about gym booking but the landlord (Ryan) didn't mention that. When I asked about this from the landlord he ignored it and said "I am off today". Why this matters the most is, that these apartments are expensive compared to other apartments. With that as a customer, I expected good service. But the landlord is way careless. -

Not Ideal for Families with Teen/Young Childr
As a parent, I cannot stress enough how unsafe Burlington Square is for families with kids. My 14-year-old daughter has been subjected to inappropriate comments and advances from patrons of the nearby KTVs multiple times. Imagine the horror of knowing your child is being harassed on her way home from school, having to call security repeatedly just to ensure her safety. The management's negligence towards safety and cleanliness only exacerbates the issue. Glass shards litter the sidewalks, vomit stains the streets, and motorbikes recklessly zoom past pedestrian paths, posing a constant threat to children. Burlington Square might seem harmless during the day, but come nightfall, it transforms into a den of danger and filth. The only saving grace is the wide variety of indian/chi food nearby. -

Great location
Can’t be beat. Central location, MRT, shopping and good food. Value for money. -

Grand old dame
I'm moving out after two mostly happy years in huge level 5 apartment, as single expat. - can walk to EVERY MRT LINE in under 15 mins - Amazing resort like pool area (lap pool and spa), which has sun all day - Spacious design, gaps between apartments make you feel less claustrophobic than modern Condos - Cool part of town with great shopping and eating options - Burlington has aged well, but still getting to point where many units will need repairs from natural wear and tear. My toilet seat came off when a screw rusted off. Was forced to buy a new toilet seat for $250. Also wall paper peeling, light fittings starting to fail. You should factor this in when thinking of the price as LL's standard position is tenant pays for minor repairs. - Area contains large temple and many religious themed shops. It can get busy at certain times of year and, combined with pulling power of OG, draws many seniors. Not recommended for people always running late and easily frustrated by slow foot traffic from shoppers. - Similarly, there are a mixed bag of tenants. Ranges from wahhabi type Arabs, expect to see full traditional clothing, also party girls from the nearby entertainment spots around Peace Centre. - Security are fairly chilled, but helpful whenever I've asked. - Management, also never had any issues with them -

Burlington Square
Part of the Burlington square development which consist of condo, shops and offices. Burlington residences start from the 5th floor which consist of the facilities like pool and gym. Layout of apartment is clean and squarish. Would be good if they had incorporated a helpers or store room -

centre of singapore
Location: Bugis is right centre of S'pore: little india, arab street, bras basah, everything so close. transport: the new downtown line will open just opposite the building, bugis mrt is minutes away and 170 direct to JB stops next door ! amenities: For cinema, choice between bugis junction, iluma, cathay. For groceries: sheng xiong, fair price and cold storage are close by. facilities & management: maintenance fees are low and management is arranging so far. good 25m swimming pool square shape, no funny turns. spacious barbeque area, tennis, steambath, jacuzzi. Parking is accessible to public. common areas are clean and security is present all the time. units: marble in living and wooden floor in bedrooms. wardrobe has german metal parts not rusted after 10 year use. Street noise is properly blocked by the good windows. (much better than my previous location). I agree tho that a bit of renovation is better to personalize the place, which otherwise feels a bit hotel-like. comparison: I visited the 3 condos: bencoolen/sunshine plaza/burlington sq. I prefer burlington sq from far because 1 contrary to sunshine plaza, unit is squarish shape, easy to furnish. 2 price is more affordable than bencoolen for quite similar facilities and quality. I recommend this place ! -

Good Location but ...
Way too pricey considering 10 years is already taken away from its 99 leasehold tenure . Rental is quite low probably due to competition from low budget hotels around the area. Renovation costs has to be factored in before one considers the potential of rental income. MRT is within walking distance but there is no shelter from rain or hot sun and you have to squeeze your way through some of the passages. Some noise is to be expected because it is in the CIty area and there is a very busy street just across. Not much views if any at all. -

City Living
Good location. Accessible. Full condo facilities. However, the views were unimpressive, the unit that I viewed faced the office block. The interior of the apartments reflect their age, it would definitely require some renovation prior to move-in. The carpark is hard to manuever around with pillars everywhere. -
