  Lifts Frequently Breakdown and Swimming Pool

  The lifts have been doing repairs and upgrading for almost a year. Worse, when lift breaks down, no immediate repair assistance & lift not working for days. Swimming Pool and Children Pool. Both pools have not been in use for almost a year. No repair in sight. Building Management Office have to improve themselves. Security Guard House: Night guard is always sleeping and unable to open barrier for drivers. Drivers have no choice but to horn, still the guard snoring away comfortably in an air conditioned room.

  Good value for a D12 Condo

  The layout is good no huge balcony. not really possible to find another similar layout/size at this price at D12. Super convenient with the nearby amenities lots of buses to go downtown or to nearby MRT stations (Novena/Boon keng/Newton) Ideal if there will be a MRT station in future

  Resident here for around 10 years

  Lots of improvements for this place since I first moved in. The exterior of freehold Calarasi(TOP 2004)has improved and the revamped Whampoa Community Club, as well as its surroundings,is within walking distance. A lot of upgrades too near Kim Keat Lane! I also enjoy using the relatively quiet gym , jogging on the treadmill or working on weights. Confident that things will continue to improve for this development and sales prices ought to rise as a result.

  My Review on Calarasi

  Good location, great convenience with markets right at your doorsteps, several NTUCs all within walking distance, drive to Orchard in 5mins, strategic position within Balestier area to avoid traffic jams, most competitive priced Freehold condo in District 12, good size swimming pool with min crowd

  I lived there 6 years.

  There is a little know ERP "Golden Triangle" - this condo is in it and good for car drivers. However for MRT users it's a pain. The building is not the best quality and lifts are terrible. I personally believe the prices are a bit high so negotiate hard. The facilities are so so e.g. tiny gym. Most residents are renters or Malaysians/Indo Chinese. The location is very convenient for daily needs.

  Great Amenities

  Convenient location with great amenities. As for the current price, i think it's relatively cheap as compare to those leasehold developements just ouside the CBD. All I can say is.."Great Singapore Style of Living"

  Expensive

  The current asking price is definitely on the higher end for this development. Unless you are driving, which the CBD is really minutes away. Taking public transport is really a painful process. In addition, situated in the midst of a very matured neighbourhood could be a bane for young children. I believe for locals, they normally do not want their home to be situated near Temples. The plus points are the nearby amenties, schools and short drive to CBD area. Just hope that Balestier Road will not transform to another Geylang/Joo Chiat.
