Not so charming afterall
I am a resident and hope my experience will help potential buyers and tenants make informed decisions about buying or renting Charming Garden. Some shorter term setbacks are the dust, inconsiderate obstruction by construction vehicles, air pollution and noise early morning until late night even on Sundays due to new condo in the cul-de-sac area of King's Road. Longer term disadvantages are parking problems within the grounds as some residents have 2 or 3 cars hence take up the spaces of other owners/tenants without prior discussion or consent, there are mosquitos and ants sometimes rats, old lifts, void deck area where people dump furniture or flout recycling directives. Good points include some greenery, spacious units, proximity to HDB amenities, prestigious schools and MRT. Overall poor value for money so please think twice if you have the asking prices of $3M (purchase) or around $6K (rental)!
