Happy landings
If you value spacious living surrounded by a cool green environment with birds chirping and the slight hint of positive ions bearing winds that blow from the eastern shores of Singapore, you will not be disappointed with Eastern Grove. A key plus to landed living is having lots of space to sun my clothes, my bedsheets, my everything - not to mention lots of personal and private space for my daily indulgence of red wine and a book as a sun worshipper. But wait, there is more. The 999 year leasehold estate is blessed with the convenience of the Tanah Merah MRT station as well as 2 well maintained parks. As we all know, the Tanah Merah MRT serves a direct route to the Singapore Expo and Changi Airports particularly Terminal 3 with airport trains to the other terminals. A stop away will be the spanking new future integrated bus terminal of Bedok Town replete with a recently completed foodie mall called Bedok Point and amenities other towns can only patiently wait for. I mean, how often do you find 4 major banks situated in the same place ? And an efficient polyclinic to boot. There's even a prominent law firm there. One stop in the other direction brings you to SImei - more food and shops. Yet another stop brings you to Tampines where you can shop for upmarket brands or just catch the latest movie at the classy cineplex. Services at Changi Hospital - you may not need but it is there just in case. And for the best part - 18 minutes away by MRT from Raffles Place MRT station. Weekends finds you relaxing at the ever popular East Coast Park where skateboarders, swimmers, hobby fishermen and whole group of families - young and old come from all parts of SIngapore to do homage to the sun and wind in celebration of another work week gone by in the ritual of living on this tiny 700 plus sqm island. This is my review of living in Eastern Grove or a place called Home. -
