No facilities, old, very basic, even needs fixing if previous owner didn't take care. A building as old as my dad. Living in Chinatown is wonderful, don't get me wrong, but you can stay somewhere with better facilities and newer. No need to stick it out in an old building that is simply OK.

vibe of Chinatown
Fook Hai Building is right in e Chinatown area. Loads of food, shopping, and tourist spots. nearby hawker centre (Hong Lim) with great food at good prices and in nostalgic vibes. However, this old building (TOP 1976) is halfway through its 99yr lease. No facilities, main thing is experience old sch vibes and feels. young professionals, students, or anyone who wants to live close to chinatown can consider.

Antiques every Sunday and old school shops
Usually come here for the pop-up antique flea market on Sunday and to visit travel agency or hobby shop that rents a commercial unit here. Food around here pretty cheap and yummy too. Carpark too narrow, better go early to get a choice of lots and park such that you are able to exit and enter easily when you return. Historical place to reminisce, will be sad after the building is gone. Air can get abit stale and some parts dark and dingy as expected of such an old building. Nice to explore vintage vibes and history but not sure about staying here long term...
