  Short walk to Newton mrt

  It is so near to MRT and definitely one of those condo that is valued for money!

  if you like noisy building works 24/7...

  My wife and I have lived at Gilstead for almost 1 year. We moved into a brand new unit. Initially we were in love with everything, the view the decor, the location. However over time, the continuous noise from SPService building work, 24 hours a day has become too much. When that is slightly quieter, the noise of busy road is then heard. There is no place for peace here. Location, is ok.. 10 minutes walk to everything you need but nothing right near to 'nip to'. Condos are very clean and spacious for their size, but overpriced based on PSF prices. The complex is kept tidy, but nothing more than a small pool that doesn't have anywhere near enough seats for sunny weekends and a park that I've never seen anyone on. The BBQ pits are ridiculously priced to use and don't have enough adequate seating for it. The gym is small but nice and clean. Overall, ok location, new and clean looking but a small complex with little to do close by and lots and lots and lots of external noise.
