  Easy accessible and convenient

  The condo has been refurbished and the facilities like the pools and clubhouse are new. I like the open space and greenery offered and not over crowded as there are only 200 big units in the condo which I don't see many nowadays. Orchard is just a good 10 mins stroll down and there is an Mrt exit Gteat World City next to the condo. Easy for me to catch the taxi from the main road and I like that there are plenty of greenery.

  Great location

  Been living here quite a few years now. Can't think of a better place. Upgraded facilities are very nice and useful and so close to Orchard, Great World City and now upcoming Thomson Line MRT.

  Horizon Towers

  Nice big units. Get one that has been renovated. Facilities have been upgraded - very happy with them. Especially the two swimming pools and toddler pool. Gym looks nice too, though I don't use it much. Love the location. Easy walk to Orchard and Great World City.

  High Noise Pollution - Avoid

  Possibly the noisiest home I have ever lived in, with construction noise being the only thing that has been unchanged in 2 years of moving here. Avoid this building unless you are stone deaf or are looking for perforated eardrums.

  Wonderful Culturally rich condo

  Lots of cultural events here including Halloween, Deepawali that are celebrated. This Condo is the most reasonable priced in the area with spacious apartments. Very close to Orchard and within walking distance of Somerset and Great world City- ideally located. With the condo owners investing on uplifting all facilities, Pool, tennis court, Health Club, lift, painting the exterior etc this Condo will look as good as any of the newer blocks around.

  Construction and Facility Challenges

  We viewed multiple units in both the East and West Horizon Towers. Also have spent time with other friends in the units. Although these units are of decent size, many have not been renovated since original building of property. The air conditioning is mainly central and utility costs run high if used, even on a minimal basis. We found out from other owners in the complex the pool, gym and children's playground (and carpark and lobby area) will shortly be renovated which will take upwards to a year or more, and will start soon. The agents left out this information as that would be one of the positive reasons we would choose to live there, particularly with children. Another big challenge - MORE upcoming construction will take place soon next door, but when inquiring, were advised no future construction. However, we confirmed with other owners and online. That in itself is going to be a hassle. Current rentals are reflecting accomodation with full facilities and minimal noise pollution, both of which will soon be gone. Please keep these in mind when viewing.
