Unresponsive Developer - Land Resource Group
I have stayed in this estate for the past 10 months and my wife & I love the location and layout of the unit. However, our experience with Land Resource Group has been utterly disappointing to date. We are paying maintenance fees of about $500 monthly promptly but yet we have to face some of these management issues:-
1. No explanation or apologies on major blackout for 4 hours (7pm – 11pm) and twice false alarms at early weekend mornings – about 6am (about half an hour for each occasion).
2. The residents requested to view our estate’s Management Agent Accounts but they have yet to respond, despite sending five registered letters.
3. The security is very lax or rather non-existent. The one and only guard will go for their breaks without any replacement and guard post is left unattended with carpark barrier lifted up for all to use freely.
4. The intercom system is redundant because the guards are not taught on how to use it.
5. The general upkeep of the common area, facilities (e.g. pool, gym) and landscaping are not consistent and below standard.
6. All fire extinguishers in the estate have expired and were not replaced with new ones.
The biggest frustration with this developer is that since TOP in Aug 2012, many of these issues had been brought up to the developer, Land Resources Group and the MA, Land Resources Realty (a subsidiary/ affiliated to Land Resources Group) went unanswered. And recently, there has been a sudden change in MA, and those issues which were raised by the residents previously were still unresolved with only two months away from CSC.
