Being near to amenities in the Balestier area
Being near to amenities in the Balestier area is always a big draw. If only there can have a mrt station in that area

Clean, Airy and Modern with a Few Caveats
Montebleu is at the edge of District 11 and 200m from Balestier Road. Being close to Balestier is a double-edged sword. Nearby are many amenities such as fast food, local food, supermarkets, a wet-market and even a cinema multiplex. On the down-side, there is a vibrant nightlife, and with it comes the unsavoury, for e.g. scantily dressed ladies having supper after work at a club nearby. As for public transport, there are plenty of cabs and buses along Balestier Road. Novena MRT is a walkable 12 min away. Montebleu has a big enough swimming pool and is one of the few condos in the area with a tennis court. There is a function room, 2 bbq pits, a sauna and a small gym. There is also ample parking space. Having 3 lifts for 34 floors of 151 units is just enough. The development is very well kept and you will almost always bump into one cleaning lady or another going about her chores. The condo management is approachable and responsive. The units are bright and airy. Units on the higher levels have great views. The bedrooms are small though, due to the over-sized bay windows. The large balconies are a boon to some but a waste of living space to others. Larger units have an abundance of washrooms..one too many in my opinion. If you are looking to stay, you should definitely get an interior designer to help you maximise the liveable space. If you are looking to rent, this place is likeable enough to fetch good tenants but don't expect to receive more than 3% yield.
