Small cozy development
Convenient location , quiet and safe neighborhood. Small pool and small common areas not much space for kids to play. Management is a pain and not easy to deal with. -

Much better after the renos
The location is fantastic being a short walk to Great World City and Valley Point. It is on a quiet cul de sac. Was looking quite aged, but recent renovations have upgraded the look a lot! -

Lovely Place
Very quiet throughout the whole day, yet only 200m from the bus stop outside and 400m from upcoming MRT. Management is responsible and maintenance of facilities is well-done. -

Value for Money Development in River Valley
Excellent layout with large squarish rooms. No bomb shelter, no bay windows, good use of space. Floor to ceiling sliding doors/windows allow plenty of natural light to reach the living room and master bedroom. Units around the area hover between S$1,600 psf to S$2,200; units at Mutiara View are currently priced around the S$1,300 region (which is what people are paying for units in suburban areas such as Kovan and Punggol). We foresee that the property should appreciate in the years to come due to its proximity to Orchard Road and the CBD area. Only a 10 minute drive to reach both. Great World City is a 8 minute walk away. Good mix of Japanese, Korean and Caucasian tenants. Condo grounds are nothing much to shout about, but hey, I'm spending most of my time in my apartment and not mooching around downstairs. -

Mutiara
Nice place. The location is excellent. Just off River valley, so it's like 5 mins drive to CBD (Central Business District) and 3 mins drive to Orchard Road. The amenities nearby are excellent. Great food choices, and Great World City is about a 5-7 min walk away. 7-11 just across the street and all sorts of cuisines! I think there is a high percentage of rental occupants there. It is far enough off the main road so you don't get the noise. Only problem is the construction site so you got some trucks and all hogging the road. But I think that should be clear by Mid 2010. Facilities are very simple. VERY basic gym and a small pool. But I guess that keeps monthly fees low. The car park is much better laid out than than Mutiara Crest down the road. But overall, it's kept clean and tidy. Interiors are nicely laid out. Not much wasted space. -

Mutiara View Condo Review
A nice condo to live in. The building quality is good and fairly sound proof. There are two apartments per elevator landing. Plenty of parking spaces always available. It's close to Great World City and a very good supermarket (Cold Storage). Bus routes to Raffles Place and China town run along River Valley road and are regular. Some condo facilities are under utilised or not working (Sauna never works, gym facilities are poor and the 'function room' is a room with an old couch). A severe hinderance as of May 2009 is the construction work directly in front of Mutiara View. It is loud, dusty and constant. They never take a break and are there till at least 10pm EVERY NIGHT, even on Sundays. -
