I moved here in 2015 and have had many good times as most of my needs are met. Schools are nearby and my husband works just down the road at Clarke Quay. There’s no clubhouse or recreational facilities inside People’s Park Centre, but you’ll find all you need in the surrounding area. Fairprice, Central mall, Chinatown, plenty of street food and some of the best restaurants in Singapore are just a stone’s throw away.

What a vision!
I wonder how the property developer had such great vision over 40 years ago to develop a project like People’s Park Centre. It’s a mixed-use development with offices, a shopping mall and residential units. I’ve purchased an apartment here, rented my office downstairs and shop in the same building. I don’t need a car as I have easy access to other areas.

People's Park Centre
The other end of the Chinatown. The building is old but still relatively well maintained. Some shops below and yes, MRT stationat its doorstep
