  Nice condo for both own stay and investment

  I love the location of Sky Vue, Bishan is a very central location and interchange MRT with Red and Yellow line. You can find all the amenities you need, shopping mall, supermarket, hawker centre, library, Parks, all within walking distance. With the upcoming commercial land zone being developed, more upside potential.

  Convenient living

  Excellent location, 3-mins walk to MRT and Junction 8, tons of amenities and schools nearby, mcst has been doing a good job with activities and maintenance

  Bishan is a sought after precinct and Sky Vue

  Bishan is a sought after precinct and Sky Vue is only 4 minutes walk to Bishan MRT station. Consider a mega condo with 694 units, the facilities are about average.

  Nice and comfortable

  Love the location of this condo. Convenient 3mins walk to MRT station, bus interchange and Bishan junction 8 shopping mall. There are many coffeeshops and supermarkets around the vacinity.

  Can't Really Go Wrong with SkyVue :)

  SkyVue was never designated to be a high-end luxury Condo from the start and we should read all reviews with a pinch of salt. We bought a 2 bedder during the initial launch soon after the introduction of the extra 7% ABSD (for existing property owners). I was against all property investment due to the property bubble building at that time and knowing of the over-supply and interest-rate increase situation. But wife was insistent on investing in a property and we were almost committed to Bartley Ridge. When Skyvue launched, it was a no brianer for me - it's this project or never! So we gladly paid the 7% ABSD and never look back! We have stayed at TPY all these while and visit Bishan quite often, so we were perfectly comfortable with the place - knowing that this is one investment very unlikely to go wrong. You may ask me why - so here are my considerations: Location is Key: The condo is less than 5 mins to the Bishan MRT stn. This is where the old NS line intersects with the Circle Line and not only that, the Bus interchange is there too. Amenities - Bishan offers the best of the old and the new. Within a 2 min walk is a coffee shop offering a decent meal for $5. Further down at Junction 8 more eating options are available. Eateries are all over the place and the supermarket is just 10 mins walk away. If that's not enough, the Community Library, Community Centre, Swimming and Sports complex are all within a 10 mins walk away. Proximity to Bishan Park - For those who love hanging out at the park. Bishan Park is just a less than 5 minutes bicycle ride away. Of course SkyVue has its list of short-comings too. These include: - So-so facilities. Nothing much exciting. There's the std pool and gym, but really nothing more fancy. - Finishing of units are definitely not of highest quality, but "you get what you paid for." There is always Sky Habitat next door if $$ is no object! In conclusion, SkyVue is a great place to invest and to stay!

  Not consider a luxurycondo

  The interior finishing is not of a luxury finishing. Unit interior- Poor finishing Giving homogeneous tiles, old fashion bath toilets and average kitchen material. One should take a look on what is a luxury condo finishing eg. some proj out there under CDL, UOL developer. Sky Vue also comes with multi-storey capark above the ground. it does not look prestigious. the land beside is likely to be released for bidding in near future for another high rise residential building. So Sky Vue will eventually end with no view. Facilities are also limited to the large amt of units sharing. At this pricing, one should consider other condos in city fringe area.
