  Good Feelings

  Went down a viewing over the weekend and I saw families having gatherings by the poolside. It was a cheerful scene with kids playing in the pool, elderly parents relaxing at the sides and parents chatting with each other, having food and drinks. They greeted me warmly though I did not know them. The development looks clean in the day with ample sunlight. There are lots of greeneries esp on the units’ balconies and bicycle stands at the building sides, which I liked too. I walked out to Koon Seng rd and saw a small church outside; around the corner is Giant Supermarket. A few steps away is Joo Chiat Rd where I found Citylife Warehouse Outlet at the junction. I bought many things there! I returned to take a look at the night scene and saw people chilling downstairs chatting with each other. It was quite a peaceful feeling under the moonlight. Personally, I would definitely consider buying a unit here if the price is right for me. Big thumbs up!

  Fresh perspective

  Urbanisation had pretty much changed the area over the years. The development had new painting done with a cleaner look when compared to the past. Cleaning and washing of the common area are done frequently to maintain the overall hygiene of the compound. It is surrounded by numerous huge private properties with families living in them, and thus the quiet environment. Notwithstanding so, the lookout for each family in the neighborhood ensures the safeguard of each other’s properties in the area. There are tenants and families with kids staying in the development and everyone is a neighbour to each other. Bus stops are along the main road (i.e. Still Rd) which are less than 5 mins walk away. Turn round the corners, you have malls (112 Katong, Roxy Sq), supermarkets, atms, clinics, banks, schools (CHIJ Katong, Tanjong Katong Pri, Tao Nan), post boxes, etc. Eunos MRT station is the nearest station, along the direction of Still Road and if you travel the other direction, you will reach East Coast Park. Down the direction of Koon Seng Road, about 10 mins drive are the Sport Hub, Indoor Stadium and Kallang Wave Mall. Travel along these sports entities, are Suntec City and Marina Sq malls which are of close proximity to City Hall Mrt, Circle Line and Downtown Line stations. I have jogged around the area at night and the roads and lanes are properly lighted up. Houses in the area also shared their lights to the night sceneries. Overall, I would recommend the development and area if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy, away from a long day of hustle and bustle at work. The lack of tall buildings in the surrounding means possible views of fireworks during the Nation’s special occasions and festivities.

  Had a look, will not look again

  Went for a viewing. Even though the place is quiet, the surrounding area is very dark at night. Not only that, next to Sunshine, the old apartments next door seem to be rented out to foreign workers. With foreign workers, dark environment and close proximity to Joo Chiat, not a very safe place for family with kids. Will look for Telok Kurau area instead.

  sunshine regency

  small place. the 2 blocks very close to each other. not all car park lots are sheltered. small pool. no gym. very old apartment next door. location considered the poorer telok kurau place, but still try to sell at telok kurau price. location not that fantastic as u need to walk quite a bit to the main road and bus stops.

  Gems in D15

  Went to view the no frills apartment with my girlfriend. Love the no frills and quiet location. Plently of famous food joint all around the area. TOP school is a bonus for us. Cheers!!!

  Not worth it

  How can the psf from less than $900psf transacted in april 2010 increase to $990psf in half a year time? it is close to $100psf increase. After today government announcement, seller must set their expectation right else risking no one will buy their property. It is crazy....
