Great Feng Shui Bao Di 风水宝地 place
Good fengshui place 风水宝地 often requires water in front. For The Foresta @ Mount Faber, it is facing the sea and Keppel Bay in the South. It has Mount Faber behind as a backing in the north, blocking evil influence, like the north wind or enemies. Surrounded by smaller hills that which resembles benefactors on its left and right. It comes with north-south axis, overlooking on vast space with the beautiful Reflections Condo as an artistic sculpture when you look out from the balcony. Everyday you can see eagles, birds, squirrels, chickens with little chicks roaming around the condo that resembles 多子多孙 abundance in the family. -

Terrible noisy
If apartment facing the Pender Road then you never sleep well unless is raining. In the night motorbikes are riding up to the mount faber and makes noise. Main door is not soundproof also. -

Hidden gem
With 5 direct buses and 2 MRT lines, we reach downtown in 10min anytime. MountFaber is the greenest spot in the Central Area. 5 min from Sentosa. Quiet and premium condo. Low charges. -

Small and no privacy
Most units face each other and there’s no way to live except your curtains drawn up. Poor quality interior fittings makes the place feel very cheap and flimsy.exterior of condo not well maintained -

The kitchen design has fire safety concern!
We are residents of The Foresta@mount Faber. There are a few quality problems of our condo including the kitchen. We found a few contractors come down to see, and they all said this design violates the current safety regulations. Even do back the same one, the same problem will happen again. Refer to TEKA hob installation instruction and safety recommendations: http://teka.shew.com.hk/media/3623/IM_Hob_ED301GAIALTR.pdf The minimum hob to wall distance at least 100mm, and minimum hob to hood ventilation distances is 650mm. But our hob to wall distance is less than 10mm, and hob to hood distance is also only about 580mm !!! This distance is so close that the flame burns directly on the wall, and it is hardly able to insert an aluminium protector between the pot and wall. Even we always put the aluminium protector, direct heat is still too close to the wall, and unavoidable. What's worse, the wall is made of plastics, and it does not stand the high heat, and turned yellow through time! We did not want to complain first, but it cracked this year, other contractors can not fix this problem, unless redesign and redo the kitchen again. I have a video showing flame burning directly on the wall. Other contractors all said this is a serious design problem, the distance is so close that the flame burns directly on the wall, even we are willing to pay more to replace the wall to better materials, but there is no such material they can guarantee to stand such high heat over time, unless redesign the kitchen and redo the whole thing to increase the distance, which will cost a few thousand dollars. To note, this design is full of safety risks, and life threatening to residents. Not only the flame burns directly on the wall, but also the hood to hob distance is way below current safety recommendations, if leave the stove on for long time, it burn the wooden cabinets overhead, and cause fire concern to the whole building. -

Container truck everyday in wee hours
If you don't care about container truck at 3am in the morning everyday, this unit is definitely a good place. -

Sleepy area n small
Is located with greenery but the traffic road noise spoilt it , 2 bedroom unit, one room only fit single person, not very useful. Without a car might be an issue. -
