  Underrated Luxury Living

  All aspects of this condo are under-rated --- 1) the staff are incredibly helpful - everything from delivering your groceries/packages, to booking reservations, and creating a welcoming family atmosphere in the common areas 2) the upkeep of the facilities (e.g. the pool) is top notch. most condos in Singapore show considerable wear and tear due to poor upkeep but the W is a standout exception to this 3) center of sentosa cove - so many conveniences close by from the W hotel, quayside isle, grocery shopping, parks, tons of open space walking areas, amazing sea side walk trails etc. 4) good mix of both luxury living and family atmosphere - the community here is amazing

  Top choice in Sentosa Living

  Have been renting out my place here successfully with a recent renewal. Surprised to see some of the comments here being negative as my tenant clearly had no such problems.

  W Residence

  The building is of a high quality and is well maintained. Starting from air conditioned lobby at the car park to the private lift and the pool and public area, everything is well maintained. It is right next to quayside with lots of restaurants and convenience stall. Tanjong beach is a 45 min walk and I enjoy along the shoreline to get there.

  Dirty, poor maintenance, management and build

  Eight long years at W Residences Sentosa Cove felt like a daily adventure in an archaeological dig—except the relics were dirty floors, broken elevators, and surprise appearances from the local wildlife (yes, rats!). Cleanliness was a myth; the changing rooms smelled worse than a busy train station toilet. The soundproofing was so poor, every flush and footstep from upstairs was a live performance. And build quality? My balcony collapsed—fortunately, only into the planter. Staff were great, but it’s not enough to mask the glaring deficiencies. Not recommended unless you adore grime and noise.

  Has gone downhill

  Poor cockroach and pest management. Common areas, carpark etc are very dirty and rarely properly cleaned (if at all). Facilities are tired and falling apart (broken fabric on pool chairs, torn umbrellas, broken and warped decking, mould). Units are of extremely poor build quality with flimsy material, zero sound separation, and cheap laminate everywhere that’s now bubbling and peeling. Unfortunately not the luxury condo it used to be several years ago. Sentosa in general also painful now and can take 15min just getting through the toll gantry during peak times (only operating 1-2 lanes after reintroducing toll opposed to several lanes they had pre-Covid). Pros: The pool. Friendly concierge. Quayside Isle nearby.

  Little to offer besides W name

  Pros: Very close to restaurants and supermarket, concierge service is a plus Cons: strong sense of impracticality and poor planning with fixtures - giant sinks with tiny taps and close to zero sink space, toilets come without bidet sprays; they are to be installed at your own cost and removed at your own cost when tenure ends, showers with non existent water pressure, poorly designed elevator system which is confusing to guests and deliverymen Poor noise insulation - constant low droning ambient noise should you open any windows, noise from traffic seems amplified at the yard for some reason, pumps are positioned right outside certain units (penthouse) and are VERY audible at night. Overall does not seem to be built around long term living

  W Residences

  Pros: - Opposite new mall - Quiet - Big pool - Great views from floor 4 and above Cons: - Interior built quality is shocking for the price tag. Noise isolation, plumbing, materials used very dissapointing. - No other facilities except pool If you dont have a car, there is a free Sentosa Cove bus that goes to Vivo and Harborfrount every 15 min.
