  Disgustingly RUDE SECURITY GUARDS

  This place is a fine and lovely development. Would have been nice if not for their extremely rude and disgusting sercurity guards

  Central location but late-night pubs

  Great transport links but beware the late night revellers at the many pubs and ktv downsta (in the very same building) that create a lot of noise till the wee hours. Interiors can be old from the 90s.

  Fantastic Location But....

  The location is fantastic. Right next to Raffles Place. But the pubs and screaming teenagers are a put down and you can hear drunkards sing and quarrel every night. Also, apartment has no facilities other than a tiny pool. No gym whatsoever. Apartment is well managed otherwise.

  Teenagers speaking and screaming until 2am

  The apartments are great and at a reasoanble price. It is however very unfortunately, that on every friday and saturday, the teenagers gathering at Bar Stickies and Bar Sticky Fingers (on this very same bulding), get drunk, speak very loudly and sometimes scream until 2-3am, making it very difficult to sleep. Beautiful place, but don't expect to sleep well, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

  Great value in the city

  The other reviewers said it well in 2010. Fast forward 2012 ... it is still attractive in terms of price and location. 2012 transactions are around 1.1k psf. Besides NE line Clark Quay station nearby, Downtown line Fort Canning Station (within 5 min walking distance) is under construction. Great value for city apt.

  Cheapest Apartment in Central Area

  Riverside Piazza is tucked away in a quiet corner across the more noisy Riverside Point where Brewerkz is. Despite being a quiet corner, it is only a 5 minute walk away from the Clarke Quay MRT and a 10 minute walk from Raffles Place. The latest transaction is around $970 psf. Rental is around 4 - 5% yield. The comparables are Soho @ Central at $1800 psf, Riverwalk Apartments asking around $1350 psf. The latest asking in Riverside is around $1050 psf. The downside to this project is its lack of condo facilities. It just has a small pool. Also, the view is not great unless you live at the top floor, which is the 8th. The trees block the first 5 floors. The project is also more than 10 years old and is leasehold. Still, the area around Keng Cheow St may liven up once the Park Regis, which is a hotel cum office building is completed. It is just next to the project. Further along is another site slated for hotel development. With more people working around that area, rental demand could increase. Overall, it is a great place if you want rental yield and affordable apartments at the heart of the financial centre.

  Buy in city centre

  The asking price of Riverside Piazza is about $1000 psf. It is definitely underpriced, given that it is right smack in Clarke Quay/CBD and only 5 minutes away from Clarke Quay MRT. Suburban condos like the Scala (99 yrs) at Lorong Chuan and Waterfront Gold at Bedok (also 99 yrs leasehold) are already selling at more than $1000psf.
