Union square residences is a mixed development and I had experience living in a mixed development, so I think I can offer my two cents worth about it for you to make a decision for yourself.
Good: Very convenient esp for running errands, easily accessible, easy access to MRT.
Bad: Security might not be as tight as it is hard to manage diff ppl coming in and out of the property daily, small living space as developer usually try to squeeze as many units into the fixed space as possible, not suitable for bigger families or those looking for a spacious unit, long queue leading into carpark as lane is shared with public and residents

Convenience with great amenities
Pros: Mixed development- amenities and offices at your doorstep, providing employment opp. Convenient- retail shops within the same development, more retail options within the vicinity eg chinatown and clarke quay. Accessible- living very close to town, MRT stations and near to highway connecting to CBD and other parts of sg.
Cons: May face heavy traffic during peak period, 99 year leasehold, lack of privacy, competition of parking spaces, noise and activity during odd hours

Prime location near Clarke Quay
Another fantastic launch that's geared towards new homebuyers or investors. First, it's mins away from clarke quay, THE nightlife destination of singapore. Next, its convenient location makes it easy for homeowners to reach CBD and town easily, be it by walking along the singapore river or a quick drive using the CTE. Many food options at various price points are easily available. But living in the prime location is costly. I understand that it is a mixed development, so it will be frequented by members of the public, making it noisy and crowded.
