visited Van Holland for a viewing. love high ceilings and the flooring here, the technique of the tiling to showcase the natural stone from Italy... even the layouts are efficient despite being slightly smaller. never stint on quality despite the space constraint of the site and lack of windows. low key impressed how developers still managed to extend some privacy by utilising the higher ground at the pool area and making the units layout dumbbell shaped instead of square or whatnot.

Van Holland: squeezing luxury out of a tiny s
when the developers bought over this site, it housed the former Toho Mansion. a lot of money changed hands in this en bloc sale, over $120M it seems. and the site is only a tiny 47,660 sqft ... sounds like a lot? no... it's a tiny football field. but kudos, the developers have done well in enhancing the luxury of Van Holland, squeezing out every sparkle and accent and doing great marketing and some novelty touches like a tall waterfall at the entrance.. hopefully these will detract that they passed on the high PSF cost to their residents who pay $2k+ PSF. space between blocks has been sacrificed, so will need to invest in more privacy measures. such are the woes of limited space and squeezing stuff out of it.

exclusive 69
honestly, the price point of $2,000,000 to $2,985,000 for such a lovely exclusive unit at Van Holland (only 69) is worth because so near to Holland Village area and it's simply so well-designed. i think it is also partly nestled on a hill, so indeed looks quite chio and some units have nicer views of this eclectic area. close to MRT too, and it is a freehold property.

Van On Holland Review
One of the the rare mid to large range freehold development that is so near to the Holland Village enclave. this development sits on a slightly higher ground but some units may be slightly affected
