Jurong West

Jurong West town, now an industrial estate, was initially a region dominated by low hills, swamps, and thick jungle. The town has experienced an ever increasing influx of workers around the Corporation Road and Boon Lay industrial area. Jurong Lake also attracts many tourists.

The Jurong West HDB Estate has been providing comfortable and sustainable living space at affordable prices to all these workers and tourists for many generations.

A vary range of housing units serve the residential purposes of about 160,000 local residents. Another interesting thing to note is that the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) intends to rejuvenate more residential areas in Jurong in an attempt to develop more commercial hubs outside the Central Business District area, an objective of the 2008 Master Plan.

The amenities provided by the estate are on par with the urban lifestyle, including shopping centres, hospitals, banks, recreational facilities, educational institutes and an excellent transport network. These facilities make the Jurong West HDB Estate an ideal place for property investment.
