Dear Guru,
I had bought a property with Tenancy agreement from the previous owner. there are still 8 months for the tenancy to expire.
When i check the TA , there is no assignment / sucessor clause. Also the lawyer through which the property has been purchased, no novation deed or assignment deed has been signed.
The property was purchased for self stay, since the rental being paid does not cover my expenses, i.e. bank installment, Maintenance charges, property tax stc. Every month i have toshell out money from my pocket for a contract that was not signed by me.
Please advise, can i ask the current tenant to vacate the premisies by giving him suitable notice period ?
