Hi Rick,

To be honest, based on what you have enquired, I would think that you are investing with huge risk, since you require good rental to assist you in servicing your loan.

Why not look at investing a smaller amount say $800k in another unit where your risk is lower? No one person or agent can gurantee you that rental is taken up without any barren period after your purchase, therefore when you are purchasing a unit for investment, you have to ensure that you have some holding power to the unit without the need to depend on rental to service the loan.
