Dear Anthony,

Unfortunately, PropertyGuru does not allow owners to put up their own listings for sale or rent. Only registered property agents with paid subscription can advertise the listings for sale or rent. For homeowners, it is encourage to engage the services of an agent to market the property for rent. Since commission is only applicable for successful transaction, you can actually factor in the commission into your expected pricing and the tenant will be the one indirectly paying for the commission. On top of that, we will do all necessary screening and due diligence expected before signing the agreement to minimise the risk of renting out to bogus tenants. If you were to be paying for advertisements on your own, this will be a costs that is to be paid whether or not you have successfully found a tenant or not.

If you are open for discussion, we can actually work out something with you.
