Singapore Citizens buying 2nd residential property in Singapore will be subjected to 20% ABSD for the purchase on top of the normal stamp duty. Depending on whether your HDB has an existing loan, your loan to value may also be affected if you intend to take up housing loan for the 2nd property.

Based on above info, ABSD is 20% of next property purchase value, and also relevant buyer stamp duty of approx 3% - 4% also applies.

Is the HDB fully paid? If you still have one home loan, and are taking 2nd home loan, max loan will be max LTV 45%. Need to meet CPF basic retirement sum before any excess CPF OA can be used for 2nd property.
