Hi, I have been living in Singapore on S-Pass for the past 5 years. During my stay, I rented a single room for 5 years and changed my room recently. However, due to coronavirus pandemic I was informed by my company that our project is terminating and I have to look for a new job. While renting my room, the owner mentioned that i have to stay minimum 6 months. While I am searching for a new job and want to stay in Singapore, what will happen if I have to leave Singapore because of my job termination. Do I have to give 1 month deposit to owner due to failure to complete 6 months? Or I can show a letter from company that I am leaving the room as my job has ended and I can't stay in Singapore. Please advise? Thank you
