Hi ,

Im currently owing a HDB flat which is fully paid.

Looking into buying a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom condo for investment. In which I will consider to stay in the condo and rent out my hdb flat or vice versa.

Kindly advise if buying a 1 or 2 bedroom condo advisable to rent out or generally are the demand for a 1 or 2 bedroom condo in future and possibility of profiting from the sale ?

Regards ,
Eric

Hi Mr Goh
This is a good move especially when your HDB is fully paid. You may want to check on the loan eligibility as a factor to consider so that you will not be over stretched and will help you to better finance your next house.

Do contact me for detailed discussion. We are launching a new development which is good for investment and own stay.

Thank you

Hi,

Firstly, your MOP of 5 years must be met. If that's the case, in my humble opinion, a 2bedroom will have more investment potential as its easier to rent out and have larger pool of buyers for resale demand.

More important factors are whether its a growth region, location and the master plan developments and employment nodes around the area if its for investment purposes. Thanks and may I understand your requirements further and value-add to your investment plans? Hope to have the opportunity to discuss further.

Warm regards

Hi Eric,

Any potential investor horizon should be set on attractive rental yield and lucrative capital appreciation , be it in any economic cycle. Thus, location and attributes is key to illustrating that strong economic front. The first step forward is definitely the loan eligibility to asses the loan quantum, after which I will be in a better position to construct the financial computations & progressive payment to ascertain which residence options will value add your property portfolio.

I have led many investors in their purchases and will be glad to assist you similarly with the payment timeline and procedure. Hi Mr Eric, if your budget allows, purchasing a 2 bedroom unit would be better. As the demand would be greater and capital appreciation would be higher too.
