In my opinion, there will be potential in the area. But only after they clean up the place. Actions have been taken, but it would take some time.

Another area to consider would be the Paya Lebar estate. Same situation.

Everitt's location is very unfavourable. It is neither near to MRT nor near to Katong/Parkway shopping area. It is also not very accessible by bus because it is some distance away from the main roads.

There is limited potential; the prices will rise over time, but not as fast as other areas nearer to MRT or to Parkway. Therefore, if anyone is looking for a cheaper unit at D15, they can consider this location, because the prices is generally lower than more prime areas of d15.

If you are considering this area for own stay and you drive, it is actually quite a nice place to live in.

If you are buying for capital gain/rental, you may wish to consider other areas which has more potential.

I do have a developer launch near Katong/Parkway area if you are interested in an excellent investment unit. Rental yield is close to 5%, prices start from about $470k.
