You need to first ensure that you have met the pre-requisites to enter this industry. To find out about the requirements, simply go to the following link and read up more about it:

Upon ensuring that all the requirements are met, there are 2 options you can undertake enroute to becoming a real estate salesperson.

1) Register with an agency of your choice and they will facilitate the entire process of registration to RES course and test as well as register you with CEA upon successfully passing the RES tests.

2) Register for RES course and test as a private candidate with an accredited facility and while you are undertaking the course, identify an agency of your choice. You can register to join the agency at any point of time after that and they will assist you with the registration to practise with CEA.

Hello ,

The basic criteria to be eligible is -
1. min 21 yrs old
2. must have 4 ‘O ‘ level passes.

Then, enrol for the new council course provider (CPA) & exam, Real Estate Salesperson (RES) (and pass the exam). Then, you may join any agency of your choice.

Alternatively, if you do not possess 4 ‘O' level passes, you have to take and pass a test, called - WPLN (Workplace Literacy & Numeric skills) conducted by WDA (Workforce Development Agency) before you can register for the RES course, conducted by CPA. Once you've passed RES, you may join any agency of your choice.
