I've engaged a DWG agent recently to rent out my newly renovated rooms. After the tenants terminated contract after 5 mths & hand over, the unit was in a bad shape. Agent & tenant promise to see to the rectify job. agent promised to alise with tenants on this.
After some days, I tried to contact the DWG agent again to check with the process but he can’t be reached at all. I’ve to engage lawyer to see to this matter & to claim for the rental lost. A check with other agency reveal that agent assist in tenancy dispute Other than receiving commission. any department in dealing with agent discipline?

When you rented the unit or rooms, there is a good faith deposit. This deposit is for you to claim 'defects expenses'. Since the tenant has moved out prematurely, you need to check the TA for specific performance. The best outcome is to discuss and find an appropriate solution with the tenant.
