We are a Swiss family with two children (8 and 10), and I have been offered a job with our Singapore branch as an expat for at least two years. The idea would be to move to Singapore in July. The kids will attend the Swiss School in Singapore in August. We would like to live somewhere in the vicinity of the Swiss School. We are calculating with S$ 7'000-9'000 for housing per month. Is it possible to get a decent bungalow/townhose/clusterhouse with 5 bedrooms for this price in District 21? If not, what kind of condo do you get ?
Du you expect rental prices to further come down until July?

With the rental softening down in Singapore, I will say that it is very possible to get a decent townhouse or clusterhouse after 2nd quarter around the vincinity of Swiss School. Do get in touch with me if you need me to help you locate a house of your dream

I have a cluster house for rental, but is in district D25-D28. It has 5 bedrooms, and many expat staying there. Rental is within your budget of $7K to $9K. Fully furnishing.
