Hi, this is a false statement and is not approved by HDB. Based on HDB website, only rooms constructed by HDB originally can be rented out. Partitioned rooms cannot be rented out, you can find out more on this website.

According to the HDB website you linked, you can only rent out bedrooms originally built by HDB, not partitioned rooms
