What HDB type (5rm, 4m etc) can I afford?
My yearly income is around 56k. I am a divorcee with 2 children. Am living with my father along with my children. I am 54 years old as of 2016.
We currently own a 3 room flat which we have stayed in for 17 years. It resales for around 300k. Previously, when purchasing this flat, I took a loan and have since fully repaid the loan. The amount that I have to return (with accrued interest) is 229k. My OA has 85.7k as of January. I did not take grants when purchasing my current home, so I understand that I am still eligible for the first timer grant with additional and the living near parents grant. Assuming that I do not have cash on hand and will be taking loan from HDB, what should the price range of the flats that I am looking for and what can I afford?
