Orchard Scotts has recently placed a 16-seater dining room exclusively for its guests.
Not to be confused with function rooms found in other lesser condominiums, the new dining room is very different with its 52-inch LCD TV embedded in a granite wall and a cordon bleu coffee machine built into sleek wooden cabinets.
Far East Organization owns the property and Chng Kiong Huat, director for development and projects says that, “Rather than simply putting in a list of ‘required facilities’ by rote, we took pains to look at the composition of targeted buyers, and to create amenities that would suit them and help them live life to the fullest.”
The dining room has numerous features and services. One of which, allows residents to choose and hire their own chef or select from the list of prestigious names that Orchard Scotts’ concierge has on speed dial. The kitchen, to compliment the cook, is full ranged and complete with state-of-the-art crockery and cutlery, an ice-making machine, and an in-house cellar where guests’ wine and cigars can be properly stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
Since the condominium was launched a year ago, its facilities seem to be spot-on when it comes to what residents ask. Bookings are nearly full every day.
Christina Lim, an Orchard Scotts dining room repeater who recently had a party there says, “Here, it’s private, comfortable and everything that I want is available in-house – there’s even a small space where everyone can sit down and have drinks before or after the meal.”
