PropertyGuru named best E-Enterprise company

4 Oct 2010

PropertyGuru.com.sg, Singapore’s largest property portal, has been named best E-Enterprise Company at the 2010 SiTF Awards, beating more than 25 companies including the National Library Board and Ministry of Defence to top the category.

Organised by the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), the SiTF awards recognises local companies that provide useful and unique services that support the country and enable more transparent, effective, efficient and lower costs.

All nominees were judged by a panel of Infocomm and IT industry experts, with PropertyGuru receiving top marks for its consumer and property industry services.

Judges commended the website for helping to make the real estate market more transparent through easy and fast access of property information and tools like commercial and residential property search, property transactions, market research, editorial, on-the-go iPhone usage, and for one stop mortgage solutions at LoanGuru.com.sg.

“This is a great coup as we were competing with lots of good entries. We’ve worked really hard to provide the most innovative solutions to consumers, so to get this award is really pleasing,” said Steve Melhuish, CEO and Co-founder of PropertyGuru.

The award comes on the back of a busy few months for the company, with the launch of its iPhone application, facebook listing application for real estate agents, a property data analysis tool, as well as the launch of CommercialGuru.com.sg, a website dedicated to commercial properties in Singapore.
