MCC Land’s The Canopy project in Yishun Avenue 11 is expected to see a strong demand at its preview this coming weekend.
Property developer MCC Land, a unit of MCC Group, will launch all the units at the project with a price tag of around $650 psf to $700 psf.
The 406-unit, 99-year leasehold EC development, will have two-, three- and four-bedroom units, as well as 2+1-bedroom and 3+1-bedroom units. Penthouses are also available, with sizes ranging from 870 sq ft to 2,200 sq ft.
The launch of The Canopy comes as the first executive condo project to be put in the market since end 2004 Esparina Residences continued to see a strong turnout at its showflat since applications opened last week.
As of October 3, its developer, Frasers Centrepoint, has received nearly 1,000 applications for the 573-unit project.
“If sales (at Esparina Residences) pan out well, we expect stronger demand for another upcoming EC at Yishun (the 406-unit The Canopy) which is priced lower at $650 psf,” said Brandon Lee, an analyst at DMG & Partners Research.
Separately, Sunway and Hoi Hup said they have sold another 20 units at their Vacanza @ East project over the weekend, taking total sales to 110 units of the 141 units released, while CDL also sold 23 more units at the 642-unit NV Residences, with total sales of 358 units out of the 400 units released.
