The URA has announced that it has accepted an application from a developer to launch a hotel site at Robinson Road / Boon Tat Street for sale through a public tender.
The land site was made available for sale on June 22 through the government’s Reserve List system.
The URA said the 60-year leasehold land site was triggered to be put up for sale after a developer committed to bid not less than S$30.8 million. In accordance with the government’s Reserve List system, the URA is making public the site’s minimum bid price but the identity of the applicant will not be revealed.
According to the URA, the site will be launched within two weeks, and the tender period will be about eight weeks.
The hotel site is located at the junction of Robinson Road / Boon Tat Street, in the heart of Singapore’s CBD. It has a total site area of 1,859.9 sq m and a maximum permissible GFA of 7,450 sq m, including a 4,016 sq m GFA from a conservation building.
The historically and architecturally significant conservation building was built in 1927. It is an important heritage landmark.
