5 Mar 2010

The Ascott, a wholly-owned serviced residence business unit of CapitaLand, is set to open its second Citadines property in Japan on March 8.

The launch of the new Citadines Kyoto Karasuma-Gojo follows the successful opening of Citadines Tokyo Shinjuku, the first Citadines serviced residence unit of Ascott in Japan.

The 124-unit serviced residence is only a short walk away from the business district and tourist belt in Kyoto, including UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Toji and Kiyomizu temples.

With the opening of this second Citadines property, Ascott’s portfolio in Japan stands at more than 3,800 apartment units in 53 properties across 10 cities, including Hiroshima, Kobe, Kyoto and Tokyo.
